Awana Schedule:
Wednesday Night
6:25 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
(August - April)
Awana Bible Clubs have been a part of the Mt. Zion children's ministry for over 25 years. With the help of dozens of faithful volunteers, hundreds of kids from our community and surrounding areas strive to become "Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed", through the study and memorization of the Word of God.
Several themed nights are scheduled throughout the year. Some of these include Sports Night, Super Hero Night, Veteran's Night, Pajama Night, Crazy Hair Night, Baby Picture Night, and Backwards Night. Our Clubs also collect canned food and non-perishable items for the Community Blessing Box.
Our clubs also enjoy several events during the year. We celebrate Christmas as the birth of Jesus during the Happy Birthday Jesus Party. During Veteran's Night, we recognize and honor clubbers' family members and Club leaders who served in the military. Participants of the Awana Grand Prix enjoy fellowship while building and racing wooden block cars.
