Associate and Youth Pastor
Dale Hamilton
Brother Dale Hamilton was born in California. After his parents divorced when he was 8 years old, he had to move a lot, making it difficult to make friends and attending church was never a priority.
It wasn’t until he was 21 years old that he accepted Christ as his Savior. At that point God started convicting him to preach. Being the guy who would never stand and speak in front of people, he ran from God for a long time. Finally, knowing that he needed to be in God’s will and in God’s house, he stopped running and answered God’s call. At age 37, Bro. Dale surrendered to do what God called him to do. At that point he promised himself that he would never run from God’s will again. He has pastored at Mt Moriah MBC for the past 11 years. Brother Dale has also been very active in serving at West Central Camp and NEXT camp at Bogg Springs. He has an Associate’s degree from Little Rock Seminary, a Bachelor’s degree from CABBI and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at CABBI.
Brother Dale has been married to his wife Angie for almost 30 years. They have 2 grown sons, Ryan and Wesley. He is the lead singer of the Christian band, B Positive, which has served as a great ministry tool for others. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and owns a body shop in Glenwood where he loves to restore old cars. But most of all, he loves the Lord and loves working with young people. He has a passion to share that love of Christ with others through mission work and hopes to instill that passion in all those who he has the opportunity to lead.
